Vietnam's 'Golden Bridge' Is Our Newest Go-To Destination Spot
Known as the Golden Bridge, a bridge outside Da Nang in Vietnam, it stands 1,400m above sea level above the Ba Na hills, offering majestic panoramic views of the surrounding countryside. The gold-colored footbridge is lined with purple Lobelia Chrysanthemums and extends for almost 150 meters, curving around in a neat design. But it is the sculpted hands holding the pedestrian bridge that give it the true wow factor. The design of the bridge came from a company called TA Landscape Architecture based in Ho Chi Minh City.
Nestled in the forested hills of central Vietnam, this beautiful new bridge that opened in June. With two giant concrete hands that emerge from the trees, holding up a glimmering golden bridge crowded with gleeful visitors taking selfies is Vietnam’s latest eccentric tourist draw. Vietnam tourism has experienced a boom as more people discover the beautiful places to visit in this remarkable country. The structure is part of a $2 billion investment to bring even more than the 1.5 million visitors the area receives annually.
