Editor’s Note
Before the First Bite
Written by Lori, Founder & Editor
Entire began as a place to explore better living — through spaces, stories, and the people who shape them. Over time, it grew. So did I.
What I’ve come to understand is that what stays with us is rarely the thing itself, but the feeling surrounding it — the room before the conversation, the pause before service begins, the moment before the first bite.
This new chapter of Entire is an invitation to slow down and notice those moments.
Here, we will write not only about food, but about hospitality — and life itself — as an emotional experience. About hotels and getaways as places of refuge and restoration. About design as psychology. About wellness as something felt — in the body, in the breath, in the way a space allows us to arrive and exhale. About art, atmosphere, and the people — often unseen — who create environments where others can feel held. These pieces are not reviews in the traditional sense. They are readings. Observations. Reflections shaped by presence rather than performance.
I’ll write from tables, lobbies, quiet corners, and in-between places — where intention reveals itself, or doesn’t. Where care is embedded in the details. Where experience lingers long after departure.
Entire remains a magazine, but it is also becoming an archive of moments. A place for thoughtful hospitality, considered design, meaningful travel, conscious wellness, and the human stories that connect them all.
Thank you for being here — before the first bite, before the stay, before the moment passes.
